Excursion

You are invited to sign up for the optional excursion to Washington DC on Wednesday, July 3.

The bus will leave the Inn at Virginia Tech at about 5:30 am and arrive at the National Mall at about 10:00 am.

For the return trip, the bus will depart from the same location on the National Mall at 6:00 pm, arriving at the Inn at Virginia Tech at about 11:00 pm.

There are no planned group activities while in Washington DC. Instead, you are free to explore on your own for the day. In addition to or instead of the National Mall museums and attractions, you might consider other Washington DC venues; for some of these, you need to travel by Metro. (The Smithsonian station is on the National Mall.)
